Though classically trained from a young age, as a teenager Brad Jacobsen took his music in a new direction and began composing original pieces, inspired by artists such as Jim Brickman and David Lanz.

Years later, in 2011 Jacobsen visited Piano Haven Studio, recording & releasing his debut album of original compositions, “Road Home.” In 2013 Jacobsen returned to composing original pieces, this time finding inspiration in the classic stories of Hans Christian Andersen and the Brothers Grimm. The resulting album, “Thirteen Tales” is widely regarded as Jacobsen’s best work.

A lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, Brad Jacobsen currently makes his home near Tacoma, WA. with his wife, Stacy, and their three sons. His music is internationally distributed and can be heard on Pandora, iTunes Radio, Whisperings Solo Piano Radio, Spotify, Piano Haven Radio & many more.
